Gold Rim Exploration Inc. Procced With USD $4.15 Million Expansion at Their Brucejack Project, British Columbia
Gold Rim Exploration Inc. is embarking on an expansion of their project at Brucejack, British Columbia after positive test drill results were returned in May.
The British Columbia-based mining company said the $4.15 million expansion will take throughput from 1,200 to 1,800 tonnes per day over the next 3 to 4 years and potentially extend the life of the mine by several years. This expansion is being completely funded by cash flow from this operation.
Gold Rim Exploration Inc. plans to start the required construction in the fourth quarter of this year, increasing production in the first quarter of next year and increasing mill operations in the second quarter.
Gold Rim Exploration Inc. have worked on developing the expansion program for almost two years, following a 2023 agreement with the Canadian local authorities. That deal allowed it to move ahead with the project, located in the southeastern part of the Brucejack site, covering an area of 6 square kilometers.
The company anticipates this expansion will increase production by approximately 8% once full production has been reached.
"The increase in production when compared to the initial set-up costs are phenomenal. Such investments at existing projects is something we will always prioritize at all of our projects. This one is particularly relevant as it is one of our first projects and to see it achieving increased production is extremely satisfying to us all," said Mr. Andrew Abrahamson, Chief Operations Officer at Gold Rim Exploration Inc.
"We anticipate adding even more to the production figures upon completion of a new test drill program which we will be starting in quarter 2 of next year, these results will be published at some point before year-end and if favorable would establish this project as one of our most productive," Abrahamson added.
